Buying OrgraN Vanilla Cake Mix, 13.2-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 8)

I love this stuff. I've tried several gluten-free mixes, and OrgraN is definitely my favorite. I also can't have eggs or dairy, so I loved that the mix is also free of these.

I will note that I did NOT have success with their vegan option for the cake -- turns out more like pancakes -- but I tweaked it with my own vegan recipe with no problems. I used crisco instead of butter (vegan butter did not work so well, nor did oil) and tofu instead of eggs. (1/4 cup of silken tofu, firm, + 1 tsp baking powder = 1 egg.) You reallllly have to beat away to get the tofu as creamy as possible if you're going to use it, though. Mix all wet ingredients first before adding the dry.

If you're a bundle of allergies like me and are tired of funny textured, blah-tasting cakes, give this a try.

P.S. Betty Crocker's icings are all gluten-free. I use the white icing with this one. Mmm.Get more detail about OrgraN Vanilla Cake Mix, 13.2-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 8).

Purchase Jell-O No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert, 21.4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 10)

My girlfriend bought one of these from a local grocery store. I really thought the strawberry topping would not be good. I imagined it would be a cheap jam and that i would eat the cheesecake alone. But,yess..I was wrong. The strawberry and the creamy filling of the pie and the graham cracker crust mix together pretty well. The taste of everything combined is very good. When you first see the packet of strawberry you think to yourself..this is way to much for a small pie. It seems like a lot at first but the taste of the strawberries isn't too sweet. So the strawberry will no overpower the taste of everything else. I really reccomend this product. My neighbor tried some and raved over it. Same with my mom and girlfriend..Haha. It also makes a good vegaterian dessert. Since it does NOT included or require eggs. How great is that? It's perfect for your vegaterian friends on their birthdays or special occasions.Get more detail about Jell-O No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert, 21.4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 10).

Shop For Hawaii's Original Taro Pancake Mix

Honestly, they taste like regular pancakes that happen to be purplish in color. The taro doesn't add much flavor to them (though it doesn't have much flavor itself). But it is fun to serve them to friends and family for a hawaiian themed breakfast! I suggest pineapple syrup-I made some from a recipe found online.Get more detail about Hawaii's Original Taro Pancake Mix.
