There are many diabetics in my family, so I like to prepare sugar-free desserts. ALL my family members who are diabetic (my mother, 2 brothers, my son, etc.) have eaten my sweet,N Low cakes AND frosting with NO elevation of their blood sugar (which they monitor closely). They love the taste and so do I. I'm not diabetic, but I still limit my sugar intake for weight reduction and it's healthier. I like the vanilla frosting and chocolate cake mix the most. As with anything you eat, MODERATION is the key (although it tastes so good it's easy to over-indulge). It works for us!!!!
